Kiva.org – Loans That Change Lives Throughout The World
I recently discovered a wonderful organisation that allows people like you and me to lend money to entrepreneurs in the developing world.
Rather than simply donating money to a charity where you don’t necessarily see the project you’ve helped, you lend your money to a specific business person in the form of a start-up or development loan. These people then repay the loan once they’ve got their business to the stage of being profitable. They currently receive funds at a rate of 1 loan every 12 seconds!
There is no interest charged on the loan. Once the money is returned to you, you have the option of distributing it to other causes or taking it back to use yourself. This gives you the option of only donating when you have the funds available.

Would You Like A Check For $15,617.10? Your Wish Is My Command
I’ve added a new category to the blog to get you more money. Aren’t I lovely?
It’s called ‘Mindset’ and it may be the most important aspect I’ve found for making money online. There’s a little gift for you to help you on your way later in this post.

One tool I’ve been using recently (every day) is The Secret Check. It’s a blank check from The Bank of the Universe and is provided courtesy of Rhonda Byrne and the folks at TheSecret.tv.
I’ve filled one out (for the sum of £10,000 payable to me) and placed it on my ceiling, over my bed. The last thing I see when I go to sleep at night and the first thing I see when I wake is that check.

I make sure that I let myself feel the emotions of happiness when I look at it. It also helps motivate me to get up in the morning. Having it there as a constant starts to condition my subconscious.
I get used to seeing checks for lots of money written out to me. I therefore start to believe, more and more, that I can get those checks with ease.
It’s a simple tool, but it’s proving very effective. Just this week I’ve used it as motivation to produce a sales page and website for a new ClickBank product I’m launching. I submitted it to ClickBank about two hours ago (it’s now 4:22pm).
Oh, and the check is dated 31st March 2010, which is my deadline for creating that £10,000 (at the current exchange rate that’s $15,617.10 in US). Exciting stuff.
