Well folks, it’s finally here…

It’s taken a fair bit longer than I anticipated it would, but it’s here. I’m proud to say that this is the 100th post on Adventures in Internet Marketing. Hurrah! [cue fireworks]

To celebrate, I wanted to create something special and above all, really useful for my readers. I was stuck for something to do, when I happened to have a chat with my Mum about ways to promote her website. She’s a very good writer (having been an English teacher for many years) and knows a lot about her subject, but as we all know, it’s not enough to reach the level of traffic you want.

She needs to share that info with the world. The best way I could think of to marry her writing with her knowledge was for her to write good, keyword-rich articles.

So, I set about planning a video course for her.

Thing is, I realised that many of you might benefit from it too. And as it’s the 100th post, I thought:

‘What better way to thank everyone and provide great value than by giving away an article writing course for free?’

No, not the guy in the photo. That’s my friend and fellow internet marketer Ben Hulme.

I mean this episode of my podcast. It’s over an hour long, but it’s really worth the time investment. You see, not only is Ben passionate about helping you to succeed online, he actually takes you through the system that has made him substantial amounts of money.

I first met Ben at Mark Anastasi’s Clickbank Millionaire event in London in June 2010 and was immediately struck by his marketing knowledge and moreover, his generosity with that knowledge.

OK, so first of all, I know it’s been a couple of weeks since I wrote on here. There’s a good reason for it.

I’ve been working on a strategy using Social Media (Facebook and YouTube mostly) to make money with affiliate marketing. I’m going to keep building this and working on it until I’ve got it cracked, then I can show you guys the results (which are already coming in). Better still, once it’s making me some good money, I can teach you how to do exactly the same thing to make money in your chosen niche. And in case you’re curious, no, I’m not targeting the ‘make money online’ market, but a little goldmine that I’ve found that very few people are exploiting.

One of my first products online back in October 2009 was a guide to using Twitter to generate a following and visitors to your site. As part of the course, I shared the original version of this video with those that subscribed to my list.

The original video showed the incredible power of social media and the rise of ‘Socialnomics‘, a term coined by Erik Qualman in his new book.

This is the updated version and it shows you the amazing power that social media has. Just imagine if you could get even 0.001% of the traffic on Facebook to your website every month.

Wow! Have I been missing out?! (That’s a rhetorical question, in case you wondered…)

Fiverr.com is known as the $5 Marketplace. People join the site and can offer their services (not matter how bonkers) for just five US dollars. Some of the more savvy users have appealed to the internet marketing community with their posts on the site. The result is a very inexpensive way to get things done for your business, while you focus on the more creative and/or important parts. Ah, gotta love leverage…
