10 Top YouTube Tips For Effective Video Marketing

make money onlineHaving used YouTube with some success for a while now, I’ve picked up a good number of tools and tips that help videos get seen and ranked well.

Once you reach a certain point, the videos you upload can have a viral effect, where the views just keep coming. By adding a link in the video description, you can create a little flow of constant traffic to the site of your choosing.

I mentioned on way to use YouTube in my previous post (using Fiverr to get views) but I’m still testing this. The tips mentioned below are the fundamentals that have worked for me for a long time. They also work for a lot of other people on YouTube and many of those people have built businesses off the back of the knowledge I’m going to share with you here.

So, without further ado, here are my 10 top tips for video marketing using YouTube:

  1. Keywords: You may have heard of the Google Keyword Tool. It’s an awesome resource for researching the words that people are typing into Google to find things in your niche. Here’s the surprising thing… YouTube has it’s own keyword tool! You can find it at https://ads.youtube.com/keyword_tool. You can use it to find out what people are searching for on YouTube and in what volumes. But it gets better… You can also use it to find all the keywords that the most successful videos are using, then use them yourself! So, go and find the top videos in your niche and run the address through YouTube’s keyword tool. Then add them to your own videos. It might just be genius!
  2. Building links to your videos will help them to be ranked higher, thus getting them more views. You can do this in a number of ways, including linking to the video from a blog post (or just embedding it), or by simply linking to it from your Twitter or Facebook profile.
  3. Add tags to your videos that match your chosen keywords. If you don’t have them, you can use the keyword tool above to find them. Don’t leave these out when you’re uploading. Take the time during the upload process to find the right tags for your video clip, as it will pay off in a big way once it’s live and ready to watch.

Free Software To Find Hot Niches and Free Traffic Sources

Just a quick note from me today.

Perhaps the most important part of setting up a business or site online is to make sure you have a good niche. By ‘good’ I mean a niche where:

  • there are plenty of buyers
  • there isn’t too much competition (but certainly a few people making money)
  • and where people are looking for something to solve their problem or issue. Needless to say, that ‘something’ is where your product comes in.

To research good niches (and the keywords that go with them) can be a bit laborious. It would really be far easier if you had a piece of software that could quickly go to Google and locate the areas that have all the attributes of a good niche.

Maybe you can see where I’m going with this… ;)

Well, now there is!

Accomplished internet marketer Ryan Deiss has just released his Cherry Picker software for FREE. You can get a copy here:

Outsourcing For Just $5 From Fiverr.com [VIDEO]

Yesterday, I wrote about how to create products quickly and easily by leveraging content created by other people, as well as the knowledge of experts.

Today I have a little videographical treat for you.

Several people mentioned this site to me in the past, but I didn’t take the time to explore it.

And frankly…

Wow! Have I been missing out?! (That’s a rhetorical question, in case you wondered…)

Fiverr.com is known as the $5 Marketplace. People join the site and can offer their services (not matter how bonkers) for just five US dollars. Some of the more savvy users have appealed to the internet marketing community with their posts on the site. The result is a very inexpensive way to get things done for your business, while you focus on the more creative and/or important parts. Ah, gotta love leverage…

Check out this short video I’ve put together for you, all about Fiverr and some of the services that are available for internet marketers. Enjoy!

Fast Product Creation – How To Create Awesome Products Quickly, Easily and For Little Or No Money

One of the crucial messages that came out of the Clickbank Millionaire Masterclass that I attended at the end of June, was that in order to get the consistent, steady income that we all seek, one needs to have one’s own products.

This makes perfect sense, as when you start creating and selling products, you are building assets which work for you and put money in your pocket with relatively little effort after that original creation.

Product creation can be pretty daunting for many people, particularly those who feel like they don’t have enough expertise in the field or technical knowledge to put together a great product.

With this in mind, Mark Anastasi put together a presentation which showed people how to create products relatively easily and economically. It’s a good lesson in the skills needed to create products online, but it also shows how the really good marketers think, particularly when you look at copywriter Brett McFall’s method of making $4000 from an e-book (which I’ll be revealing later in the week)! Massive leverage is the name of the game.

So, let’s get started…

A Lesson in Life And Business From The World Cup… Honestly!

Yes, that’s right folks!

My blog and I are jumping on the World Cup bandwagon of extrapolating tenuous points from current events in the hope of sounding relevant and (God forbid) ‘cutting edge’.

Except this one is actually relevant and a good point. And I think it will help you.

I was casually watching the football a few nights ago. The match was being shown on ITV here in England, a commercial channel which broadcasts ad breaks. In this case, the breaks happened twice during half-time of the match.

An ad came on for one of the sponsors. I can tell you now that I don’t remember who or what the ad was for, so it wasn’t effective. What was effective was the message it came with.

It showed a man holding a football, a solitary figure walking towards the penalty spot to take a penalty. The voiceover simply said:

Improving Your Search Engine Rankings – Links From Quality Directories

I’ve been working on trying to get several of my sites onto the front page of the search engines. One of the more traditional ways of making yourself an authority in your niche and making your site relevant (which helps your ranking) is to submit your site to reputable directories.

The problem with that is that it’s totally tedious.

As a result, I went looking for some ways to get it done easily and quickly. I’m happy to pay for the service, as it counts as outsourcing the necessary (but boring) stuff that makes a business run.

And I found this:

It’s a good service and allows you to submit to 1211 directories. What’s more,
