How To Make Money with PLR (Private Label Rights) – Free Guide
When it comes to creating income streams for yourself online, bring the owner of a product is perhaps one of the very best means to make money.
In this article, I’m going to show you why PLR (private label rights) is a great way to create your own product, how we’re going to use it and finally, a completely FREE resource I’ve created to show you how to make money with PLR, by setting up your own product in just 7 days.
Why PLR?
Ok, first of all, let’s look at why PLR products can be so brilliant when it comes to making money online and creating your own product to do so.
PLR or Private Label Rights products enable you to take a ready-made product and sell it as your own. This means that you can leverage off the work someone else has already done for you on your topic to create wealth for yourself.
The benefits are many but include:
- The work is mostly done for you.
- You get a complete product for a relatively small one-time investment.
- You don’t have to research or write the product itself.
- You can often find PLR written by experts, giving you even more credibility as you know the work is of high quality.
- It’s much cheaper than creating your own product as you’re not paying a writer to create a new product from scratch.
There are of course some downsides (although to be honest, they’re fairly few in number). The main two are that:
- The product is out there for anyone to buy and use as their own (but I’ll show you how to get around this).
- The quality of PLR material varies widely. There are plenty of good packages out there but there’s also a lot of hastily-assembled rubbish. Generally speaking, you get what you pay for, so if you see a free or very low cost package, it’s probably priced that way for a reason. That said, I’ll also show you a way to get around this too and get quality without the chunky price tag!
How We’re Going To Profit From PLR
We’re going to be using PLR is a slightly different manner to the way ‘received wisdom’ would have us use it.
You see, most people who are thinking of using PLR or MRR products will be taking the product and any site it comes with, putting that site up and selling the product exactly as it is, only changing the name on it to be their own.
We’re going to be a little smarter than that… Read the rest of this entry »
How To Get More Views on YouTube for Free – Some Strategies For Increasing Video Views
When you start doing video marketing, a lot of the emphasis tends to go towards making sure you have good content and that whatever screen capture software and microphone you use works for the job.
However, when it comes to actually uploading the video, you hit a slight stumbling block:
- Who’s going to view my video?
- How can I get more views on YouTube?
In many ways, this post is actually a follow-up to my 10 Top Tips For Effective Video Marketing which goes through some of the keys to making sure your video gets seen. One of the things I talk about there is keyword research, which is crucial to succeeding at pretty much anything online.
However, it’s also possible to get people to view your videos on YouTube via a few other, slightly more covert ways. You see, ordinarily you would do your research on a topic, create a compelling video and then hope that people find it. You could bookmark it and send it out on Facebook or to your list, but if you don’t have those or if you want more exposure, then check out the following (free) methods in this helpful video.

Free Article Marketing Tips and Training For All For My 100th Blog Post
Well folks, it’s finally here…
It’s taken a fair bit longer than I anticipated it would, but it’s here. I’m proud to say that this is the 100th post on Adventures in Internet Marketing. Hurrah! [cue fireworks]
To celebrate, I wanted to create something special and above all, really useful for my readers. I was stuck for something to do, when I happened to have a chat with my Mum about ways to promote her website. She’s a very good writer (having been an English teacher for many years) and knows a lot about her subject, but as we all know, it’s not enough to reach the level of traffic you want.
She needs to share that info with the world. The best way I could think of to marry her writing with her knowledge was for her to write good, keyword-rich articles.
So, I set about planning a video course for her.
Thing is, I realised that many of you might benefit from it too. And as it’s the 100th post, I thought:
‘What better way to thank everyone and provide great value than by giving away an article writing course for free?’
So, here it is. All I ask is that you leave a message below if you enjoyed and used the info in the videos and that you share it with anyone you think might also benefit from it.
Here goes:
Video One – Introduction
Video Two – Keyword Research
And Now For Something Completely Different… Happy News!
Just a short post from me today.
If you’ve read my blog for more than a couple of posts, you’ll know that mindset is a large part of what I discuss on here. I do it for good reason too.
The main reason is that I know that having the right mindset is what makes the difference between those that really succeed online and those that don’t. I’ve begun to surround myself with successful people in order to understand their way of thinking and the habits that have got them to where they are now.
The other reason for writing about mindset is that the more I share, the more I learn. By teaching and sharing this stuff, I understand it from a different perspective. So it’s as much for me as it is for you, my readers.
With that in mind, I wanted to share this with you:
I actually stopped reading newspapers and watching the news on TV about 18 months ago. My reason was that I didn’t want that negativity in my life. I also wanted to take responsibility for the way the media is. You see, if you and I continue to give our attention to these negative stories that are featured in the news, then it’s our fault that they keep feeding them to us. They are giving us what we’re saying we want.
If we all stop watching the news and instead focus on positive stories, the news networks will have no choice but to change their output.
So to that end, I wanted to introduce you to Happy News, a site dedicated entirely to happy occurences in the world. It was introduced to me by the highly positive Cher Pearce. Go and check it out and maybe even subscribe to the RSS feed as well, so that you can get a little shot of happiness in your day, guaranteed.
How To Become Big In Russia – A Cool Plugin To Translate Your Site And Reach More People
I was chatting to my friend Penny Snowball earlier today and she mentioned that she had a few readers in Russia who were interested in translating the site, in order that she could help/reach more people.
Incidentally, Penny’s site is all about her journey from being a drug addict to getting clean and taking control of her life. It’s pretty uplifting reading, showing how you can take control at any moment in your life.
Anyway, one of Penny’s readers in Russia had a real breakthrough thanks to her writing. So it makes sense for her to ‘go global’ and find a simple and inexpensive way of translating her site.
Enter Matt Duggan, stage right…
I had a little dig around and found something that’s ideal for what we wanted.

Phenomenal Strategy for Using YouTube to Build a List and Make Money Online
I’ve been mentioning Fiverr.com on here a fair bit recently after I discovered it about 6 weeks ago. It’s made outsourcing very approachable. Beforehand, I was concerned about needing to employ someone full time and being a little reticent to venture into outsourcing before I had several income streams set up.
I think I mentioned a few weeks back that I was on a call with my IM (internet marketing) mentor, Neil Asher. Incidentally, getting a mentor doesn’t have to be pricey – you can get on Neil’s coaching program for £4.95 (around $8) by going to this page. On that call, I mentioned Fiverr and Neil and the rest of the coaching group fell in love with it… The down side is that it will probably make us all less effective in our businesses for a few weeks as we spend some money on some of the more silly ‘gigs’ on there.
Anyway…
About two weeks after that call, I got a comment here on my blog from one of the other guys who was on that call. His name is Chris G and he had taken some of my suggestions about Fiverr and acted on them in a BIG way! Already, I was very pleased to be the person to have introduced him to the site, but even more pleased when he told me his (frankly unbelievable) results.
This is the comment he left me:
