About
So, the short story is that I’m an internet marketer who wants to share the journey from zero to making £10,000 per month online, along with all the tips and tools I pick up along the way. I’m not there yet. This blog will chronicle how I make it to that goal.
But you don’t just want that version, right?
I’m a professional actor based in London.
I was unhappy with my level of income and the feeling that I could do and achieve more by increasing my levels of awareness and education.
Of course, I want to earn more money. But I have a real reason for that. It’s not just because I want more money or even because I prize money. It’s because I have dreams.
I dream of being a professional actor, appearing on television and in movies. Being totally honest, I want to win an Oscar for best supporting actor in a motion picture. I want to work with Ricky Gervais. I want to be a well-known comic performer. I want to be respected as a good (and eventually a great) actor.
And I want internet marketing to be help me fund the things I need to achieve that dream.
I also dream of helping charities to achieve their goals, like the UK charity Sport Relief. I would love to be able to donate thousands to them so they could feed and clothe the world’s poorest communities and give them hope and dreams of their own.
I see people around me every day going to a job they don’t like to earn money, just to survive. I realised that rich people (and I mean ‘rich’ in every sense of the word) don’t do that, or even think in the same way. I began a quest for true wealth.
You see, in 2009, I attended an internet marketing seminar with Nik Halik and Mark Anastasi (among others) and I was blown away by the idea of working from home for an hour or two per day and building a series of assets that would give me the money I want for the life I want. It has always been about the life. The money is merely the tool to get there.
Nic, Mark and the other speakers showed me a glimpse of a world where you could still dream and actually achieve those goals.
So I began to write a couple of books on things I knew about. Mark had mentioned that a good way to begin is to take information that you know and put it out there for people who don’t know it. I did this and created my course on how to Twitter to promote your business.
As I went, I learned a shedload of techniques and ideas. I’m still learning today and this blog is the chronical of that.
I’m no expert on the vast world of internet marketing, but like you, I’m working on it.
I really hope you enjoy the blog and that you learn something from what I’ve done so far.
Please leave a comment on the blog as I love to hear from people like me who are progressing with their own dreams.
To our success,
Matthew Duggan
